Pasand Eco -Release (oil Base) is a specially formulated blend of mineral oils and chemicals that has better release properties than conventional mould oil.

The chemicals react with the alkali in the concrete to form a thin water repellent skin on the surface of the mould, thereby enabling easy striping from concrete and acting as a protection to steel and wooden form work, resulting in fair-faced and stain-free concrete

Application

Coverage between 20 to 60 m2 per litre is possible depending upon the porosity and texture of mould surface. It can be applied by brush, sponge or conventional mould oil-sprayer. If a mould oil-sprayer is used, care should be taken to ensure that the correct nozzle size is chosen. Stir the contents of the container thoroughly before use. Apply one coat thinly and evenly over the entire surface. Only the thinnest coating necessary to achieve effective coverage should be applied.

Packing

Pasand Eco-Release Emulsion is packaged in 200 litre HDPE drums.

Safety & Handling

Material must be handled as an Industrial chemical, wearing protective equipment and observing the precautions as mentioned in the MSDS. As with all chemical products, care should be taken to avoid contact with eyes, mouth and foodstuff. Gloves should be worn when handling the material. Splashes to eyes and skin should be washed with water and treated immediately. Reseal container after use.

How to Use

Pasand Eco oil Base should be applied using roller brush or lightweight horticultural sprayer (knapsack type). Only one coat should be applied, as thinly as possible, except on very absorbent new timber where two coasts may be necessary for first application only. Placement up to 3 weeks before concreting will not affect the performance. Before re-use of formwork: The cleaned formwork surfaces must be re-coated with Pasand Eco Oil base as per normal practice. .
